Alfian Sa'at is 19 and a first-year
medical student in NUS. He has a
29-inch waist AND television set, enjoys skipping (school, that is) and
biting chocolate-stained ice cream sticks into pulp. He is currently
working on a research-based play called "Causeway", a volume of poetry,
and his rectus abdominis. He is also praying for the day to arrive when singapore
books won't have covers with airbrushed demons, flaming red eyes, a pros
polaroid or aluminium-foil-glam lettering.
